Hi, I am looking for an MXM blank card for my MXM2 slot in Australia. :) Willing to pay $20 AUD shipped.

    Dell part number: A10C11

I can only find one in the US but not paying $100 shipping for a piece of plastic! :-D

Yea! They are rather hard to find (in AUS anyway) because for those small amount of people that bought an M18x model with only one GPU, it would take the place of the MXM2 GPU too keep the stricture under the keyboard.

There is also a GPU 2 fan bay blank to block off the unused GPU2 fan vent. :) I've found one of those thankfully, it's the most useful out of the two. :) It is P/N: A10C09

I did actually see this one on ebay recently and was wondering if I should have bought it. The extra flex from not having a second card is annoying. I was going to put an old broken card in just to stop it.

Where'd you find one of the dummy cards in the US?

That shipping cost is ridiculous. I doubt it would be more than $20USD. Maybe a nice gentleman here can purchase two of them for us and send them over.

It would still be a ripoff even if they could bundle two up for us and keep the postage the same.

Haha, yea it's crazy on shipping! :-D I got my fan blank for about $45 AUD (a bit more than I was happy with) from the US as the shipping was about $38 and the item itself was $7. Haha :-D crazzy for a small piece of plastic.

Oh! I'm going to be making my own custom M18x R2 3x HDD cable soon, I'll let you know how it goes when it's done, I assume you haven't found one yet. :)

Well I've found plenty of them but I'm not spending $170AUD on one that's for sure. Man I hate the AUD right now.... I'm still waiting to find a parts machine but they are hard to find. I've got my broken cable sitting in the cupboard but it looks impossible to repair. It's definitely the weakest part on the R1/R2 and they improved it on the 18.
There's still a fan black from Lithuania for a little over $50 delivered. Still a lot for plastic.
