Strange, mine is brand new and came properly packaged.
I ordered sand paper 1000 for metal but yet to recieve it .
I noticed my 3 pipe heatsink had left scratches on the die surface of my CPU as if the metal had eroded and got stuck on the copper surface, very strange indeed I added enough paste too, no idea why this happened

Mine was too, it was user error that messed up the heatsink, not a fabrication issue.

Update - The heatsinks, both are not even fitting, the coverage is good for the CPU one but the HS won't fit. The frame is too large or the arms, same with GPU, but only one arm is somehow having more length causing not to fit. Bummer !!

Will PM the seller and let you guys know.

That is a shame, I sanded the contact area on both my CPU and GPU heatsink and the CPU heatsink does not fluctuate so much anymore but its still inferior to the Dell one the GPU heatsink seems to work just fine

My load temps on my 780m before the GPU died was more or less 56c, this was also with the 11ish CFM fan (Cant remember if its 11.4 or 11.2)

My m6100 will be here tomorrow and hopefully the heatsink will play nice with it.

I need to replace the CPU heatsink still.

Its odd that you say the Dell one is better, my 4930mx was overheating at stock with it.

I sanded both of them on the contact surface, seems like they apply some nasty paint on it that corrodes the chip surface area.
This improved the CPU heatsink quite a bit but still worse than my Dell. Could be manufacturing defect
