Hello everyone, I'm reaching to you out of the Owner Lounge official topic because it's over saturated with problems (...) and as it was suggested I'm making a new topic for this problem, if someone has any idea to help :

How can I solve a light but a lil bit disturbing problem of sound (internal speakers) on my Alienware Area 51m ?

    To make it quick :

Sometimes if I play music or videos with vocals inside, like this video :

I usually hear a distorted or sizzling sound coming from the speakers
I tried everything, from swapping both the speakers and the sound board from my old dead Area51m unit, checking the rubber dampener washers to trying applying pressure but nothing
If I switch audio mode in the drivers (example : 24bit 192Khz to 16bit 96Khz) it removes the bad effect... for only a matter of time because it gets back after a while...
    I think it's mainly software/drivers related
I didn't try to swap drivers with those of January, gonna try tonight

If anyone has an idea to help me, I'd be very grateful (no swap please, I'm on my third intervention and 2nd swap ^^)

Take a look at the screw that goes into the right side speaker and see if the threading in the hole is shorn or messed up
