    Hello forum,

in short the HDMI IN port on my mid 2013 Alienware 18 doesn't work any longer. The HDMI OUT works just fine. Roughly 9 months ago on windows 10 i was able to use my HDMI IN using the same setup and cables with no issues at all 9 months later the port just doesn't work any longer. I did several tests and researches in the past 7 days, and doesn't look to be the windows version, i did a fresh install of win 10, 1703, (no luck) but if related could be a nvidia or intel hd driver ?! or maybe just a hardware issue. Now hopefully someone here knows what are the drivers that are responsible for the HDMI IN port ??

I think it may be hardware issue. I suggest to get a LiveUSB Ubuntu Linux, boot it and test it HDMI In works, it should.
