Is this heatsink still available? How can i get one please? I tried everything but even at stock 2.9ghz on cpu, LM and k5pro all round, pch and nvme's heatsinks, coolpad, etc, gpu locked at 1500mhz, temps not exceeding 75 on cpu, 70 on gpu, 70 on pch I still get crashes after about an hour play :( this is the last resort so if this does not help I am going to throw it away :((

P.S.: undervolt on cpu, undervolt on gpu, LM on cpu, kryonaut on gpu, the whole nine yards. My test is nfs heat full details plus prime95. It holds about an hour and then crash even if nothing goes beoyond 75C

It doesn't seem to be a temperature related issue. So i would not search the problem in the heatsink.

Any ideas are welcome but it seems weird. Meanwhile I have to find a way to keep the temps under 75 :(

    Hi there,

I'm interested in buying a 17 r5 but I know the original heatsink just does not do the job.

How well does this new heatsink cooling these models? It will basically sell me on this laptop depending on how well it does

I am useing this heatsink with 17R5. My original heatsink had not good contact with CPU and i had 96 degrees always. But after buy this heatsink my CPU feeling better. Maybe original heatsink was defective but with new heatsink better. This heatsink very fat and need more time for heat this cooper.
