    Specifications:
    Alienware 17 R1
    Intel Core i7 4800MQ
    16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 1600
    Nvidia GTX 980M 8GB w/ Prema vBIOS 1.1.1
    17" 1920x1080 120Hz Samsung Display w/ IR emitter
    500GB Seagate 5400RPM HDD
Windows 8.1 Pro (Free upgrade to 10 Pro but don't do it )
    240W and 330W Charger

    General Information:
I purchased this factory refurbished on eBay October of last year, sealed in box. It has been out of warranty since June. It originally had a 4700MQ and 780M but I swapped them to the 4800MQ and 980M respectively. It also has the 3D IR emitter but it does not work with the 980M.

It is in great condition, I have carried it in a backpack wherever it went and I treat my things very nice. The keyboard is in great condition and the screen is pixel perfect. There is a small mark on the trackpad (pictured), 4 small imperfections in the lid (pictured), and the corners of the lid are wearing (pictured). It has been fully cleaned and is ready for it's new owner.

    GPU Information:
The 980M has Prema's unlocked vBIOS installed on it right now. It runs stock 1127/1250@1.062V. I normally run it at 1229/1350@1.062V or 1313/1350@1.087V but of course YMMV. The GPU is a couple of months old, I purchased it from Woodstackz on here so it is a very nice card.

    Mods:
    • The CPU and GPU are using Prolimatech PK-3, I will reapply them both before I ship it out if the buyer wants. The GPU is using Fujipoly Extreme thermal pads as well.
    • I have two higher CFM fans installed, 2.3CFM for the CPU (stock=1.66) and a 11.4CFM for the GPU (stock=1.74). The GPU usually sits between 60-65C with the fan maxed out with an OC.
    • I installed two switches in the front of the casing that allow the fans to run at 100%, these are spliced into the fan PWM line and when switched "on" run the fans at full RPM. This bypasses the limitation imposed by Dell from the factory allowing the GPU fan to run at 4700RPM instead of 3400RPM. If the fan switches are not wanted I will buy and install a new frame and fans for the buyer.
Thank you and if you have any questions please post here or message me.

I'll be ordering a new frame this week and pulling the fan switches out. I am open to offers and I am willing to remove parts (CPU, GPU, RAM, HDD) if they aren't wanted to get the price down!
