I'm in the process of giving my Alienware 17 a fresh new Gloss White paint job to remove the ugly grey areas they have. The main chassis section only has a very small section to respray but it was torn down completely just to be safe. It's a 3 part process once all the black sections are taped off - Prime, Paint and Clear Coat.
The chassis and bottom base cover are now completed but the LCD lid still needs clear coating. I'm hoping to have the machine rebuilt by the end of the weekend.

Getting there. These just need a little tidy up around an edge or two but I’m pretty happy with the result so far. The LCD lid is the tester though. It won’t be ready for a few days.

I’m contemplating pulling the grills off the base plate and spraying them white.

Lid done. Just waiting on some new memory before I can reassemble.

Took some memory from another machine. This thing looks amazing, if I do say so myself.

Thanks man. The plan was to fix it and flip it but now I don’t want to let it go.

    Cheers.
After scraping her car down the side pillar of the garage, my wife refused to park in it anymore so I turned it into a workshop.
