For some reason my alienware 14 laptop runs with a integrated graphics card better than the discrete which is a Geforce GT 750m and Intel HD Graphics 4600 my processor is a quad core i5-4200m CPU at 2.50 Ghz.
Does the fact that I have a good processor make the integrated better along with the Geforce being bad? Or is my Geforce not functioning properly? I can still run decent games like Elite Dangerous Horizons and GTA V, but it has to be on integrated.

    Thanks for the help.

That's weird! It may be overheating or the drivers may be outdated. Try checking those 2 things before anything else. The Intel card on that system is not more powerful than the nVidia card, it should be the other way around.

You can do so by downloading HWMonitor and run a game while you have it on the background.

How are you testing that it is running better on the integrated card? Is it possible you have got them mixed up?
