    Hello,

so I have alienware 14 with the following specs: i7-4710 MQ, 2.50 Ghz, 8 gb RAM, 2 gb NVIDIA video card Gt 750m. I have Windows 10 pro on it. the laptop is not that fast on booting and what's main: when i open a program for the first time it really struggles and needs much time, but after that the program works fine and if i close it and open again, it will do fine. so it loads the programs heavily for the first time, but works fine thereafter, even if i have opened multiple heavy programs simultaneously. So is this right? Is it supposed to work this way?

    Thanks in advance

I dont know about Alienware 14 on Windows 10 but is your hard drive still ok? (Like how many years old is your hard drive) Does it take a really long time to boot? (Mine has 2 Hard Drive with M-sata drive as OS drive, took about 10-15 sec to fully boot at Win 7)

That's NOT a tweak and does nothing to increase your boot time speed.

Add another 8GB and an SSD. Without SSD, W10 will perform like crap and my older lappies with W10 on HDD, it performs nicely for 10 mins and then slows down.
