Hey guys I ordered an Alienware 14 and I'm just wondering if I would be able to put the motherboard of an Alienware 13 in it? How well would it work out and what problems would I run into.

I dont think its possible,The AW13 uses 2 fans, the AW only uses 1. Also some cables and pins may be different.

Rarely can you change the motherboard of laptops to another model. I don't think the motherboard of the 13 and 14 look similar at all.

In that case would like I be able to use just the aw13 parts in the aw14? As in the motherboard and everything that goes with it other than the screen, keyboard, and those types of things?

You might be able to use the RAM (if it's the same type. - i.e. DDR3 and DDR4 are not compatible.) and the hard drive but that's about it.
