Which one offer more value for the buck? AERO 17 HDR SA ($1,999 on Amazon bought in March) seems to be overpriced vs. Omen 17t ($1,529) so is there smth I'm missing? Some flaw? Omen has higher RAM and storage but larger, has thicker bezels, smaller battery. Why such a difference in prices? What has been your experience with either of them? I have to decide in the next 5 days unfortunately and some help would be really welcome!.

You are paying a premium on the panel and small quality of life things like calibration, max battery capacity and size compared to standard 17.3 units which if you need portability can come into play really heavily , unless you absolutely must have the calibrated panel and the weight and size reduction then the omen would be the better option for you. Ryzen mobile and 10th gen intel stuff is also bringing prices of 9th gen down as inventory is cleared and HP makes way more laptops thus the decrease. You really have to compare the stuff like ports, optimus/mux and the rest of the things both bring to table though to decide if that hit to keep Aero is worth it for you but it honestly it wont be.

Does the Aero 17 or the Omen 17t have any problems that are not visible? I just found buzzing from under the keyboard for Aero 17 and no problems for Omen 17t? I will probably have to do a lot of coding/data analytics and video/audio encoding and the 17" @4k is very useful when traveling. Very few laptops have 17" @ 4k screens and allow 64 gb of RAM.
