Haha! Great point, guess I didn't think of the pressure. I thought with the 15 though they went edge to edge on the screen? Did I see that wrong?

Not exactly, but it's pretty close. Any bleed would likely be on the bottom and top edges rather than the sides, because for most laptop manufacturers secure them there.

    This.

My dream machine for work / road would have an 8th generation Intel U CPU, an Nvidia MX150 and a 94 Wh battery.

Most importantly, it would also have an adequate cooling system. The cooling system would define it's profile. Ideally it would be thin and light but I'd prefer proper function over form and if it had to be fatter and heavier, that'd be fine.

Sounds appealing to me, I'm not on the road often enough to miss my gaming desktop at home, so a laptop for me would be for email, basic word processing and netflix. Were I away from home enough to need performance to go I'd probably go with the smallest thing that would fit a 1060 and not melt.

In terms of display...according to these German reviews

    https://www.hardwareluxx.de/index.p...a-geforce-gtx-1070-max-q-im-test.html?start=2
    and
    https://www.hardwareluxx.de/index.p...enfrohe-gigabyte-aero-15-im-test.html?start=2

the max brightness went down from 369 to 300 (although I believe 300 is fine)
the contrast ratio has increased from 1400:1 to 1100:1 (15X worse than 15)

the homogeneity of the illumination increased from 90% to 92% (which is better on 15 X than 15)
the color temperature average decreased from 6800K to 6500K which is optimal (this is better on 15 X too)

    Isn't this a downgrade for 15X from 15?

but the reviewer is saying that the display on

    15X is almost perfect and
    15 is very good.

I don't quite understand. Is he right?

It is the same display in both Notebooks. Differences in temperatures, display measurememts and loudness are normal dispersion.
