    No, I don't think that the advent has a LED display, It has a CCFL backlit display. I also don't think that it's actually possible to have an LED display on these laptops because the connection is different for the 2 different backlight types.

    Thanks for the offer, the Q9000 I have right now works nicely and it handles heavy photoshop work and gaming very well, so I'm not looking to upgrade.

    Is the Photoshop CS4 the student or the full version?
    Is the CD also Mac compatible like the CS5?

    It's the extended edition of CS4, I'm not sure if the CD is mac compatible or not.

    I should have done ths earlier but better late than never,
    Mods, this thread can be closed as the laptop is no longer for sale.
