    For chrome browser users, you can push the update by going to chrome://components/, and click update on adobe flash.

    Adobe has pushed out another flash update just 3 days from the previous one. There is no official announcement page yet, but you can find out more about the update here.

    The new current flash version is 26.0.0.131

    For chrome browser users, you might have to manually update by going to chrome://components/, and click update on adobe flash.

    Windows 10 Edge browser and Internet Explorer (embedded - Windows 8.1) are still at version 26.0.0.120. There is not an update for them yet.

    Always been meaning to ask…

    I see these updates when I check for Win 10 updates, but I made a point of not installing Flash. Can I just toss this into the F.O. pile like MS's driver "updates", or has the whole mess been baked into Windows too

    Good question. I don't know if it's baked in. I'm assuming it is. You can always go into control panel and check if you have the "Flash Player" icon. If you do, its installed. You can click on the icon and then the updates tab to see what version is installed.

    Security wise, it's better not to install it and hopefully sites will use html5, but a majority of sites still use adobe flash. If you do have it installed, definitely update to the latest version for security.
