    I dont know if this is related to the update, but i have been getting spikes of 50-60% cpu usage on Firefox with only one page open, and scrolling is slow and jerky.

    I'm using the Firefox Developer branch, 49.0a2 and I also noticed a heavier load after updating to the latest flash version.

    Chrome is locked into a much older version, due to Google dropping Vista support, and it's still performing well.

    I use an add blocker uBlock, so most of the flash adds are blocked, but the one that get though still slow my browser down, I wonder how my watts are wasted world wide running this crap, they should be forced to only show adverts as still images.

    "Adobe has released an emergency update for Adobe Flash Player that resolves a critical vulnerability that is actively being abused to execute commands on vulnerable computers. According to Adobe Security Bulletin APSB16-36, Adobe has become aware of a report that an exploit for CVE-2016-7855 is actively being used in targeted attacks against users of Windows versions 7, 8.1 and 10."

    I've never had a problem with a web install. It's adobe's preferred method of distribution to the public.
