That's technically a separate thing and having a recognised combined ID from the GPU/motherboard to find a lookup in the driver.

I don't know the full details myself, but you are right that BIOS work can be used to generate a valid ID for the drivers.

Also the fans on the CPU and GPU side are conected with Y splitter so they can work by temp.
This is the only small bonus that you have with the original DM you can connect both CPU fans to work by temp so that the second fan does not spin for nothing.
    Like I promised finished mod:

Is that an internal USB header you have soldered above the slave slot? That does look like some hard work getting that heatsink all sorted, nice work.

Yes it was a good mod, managed to shave off 10 degrees celsius in comparison with the old sink.

So as an update, I replaced NVdGPUDxe from original moded dsanke bios with the module from dsanke bios with RTX support, flashed it but...:oops:no chance. As a result, bios does not recognize any video card, hence the whole section disappeared from it and got blue screen when booting to windoze.

Will still try, but I do not know what to do next.

UPDATE: I have finally caved in and flashed dsanke port from TM and everything works as expected (except the sound bug which works correctly only on microsoft driver).
Now I want to update with 1080 and 9600kf and a Innolux N173HHE-G32 to have Gsync working also.
Does someone have a cheap Innolux N173HHE-G32 in Europe to spare ?

Make sure the 1080 you get is g-sync compatible.

Yes of course. Found one with 86.04.80.00.24 vbios, and 10DE 1BE0 HW ID and from what i know that is Gsync.
