    I e-mailed Acer to ask if they could sell me a replacement fan. Here's hoping they will.

    Nope all my temps are fine (hdd 50 celcius, cpu is reaching +-70 like it always did).

    50c is getting a little hot for the HDD I think.

    My HDD is about 35 celcius, maybe your hdd is getting to hot. I don't know how many heat the HDD can handle

    yes that is quite high temp for HDD...

    my temps are when disk is not under load average 35 C and when under load it doesn`t go beyond 41-42 C...

    May be you should consider that point to...

    My hdd has always been 50 celcius, and it also reaches those temps with my nvidia 8600mgt, yet my pc only freezes when I use my ati hd 4670.
