Can I assume the Advanced menu is visible in real BIOS Setup Menu?

May I know the computer model? I know you have NVIDIA chipset because I saw MCP79 Core Voltage: string in BIOS.

I have found extra advanced menu. Just need to find it's parent menu so that I can unlock it all. I will post the modified BIOS image when it ready. For the mean time, please make sure your notebook can recover corrupted BIOS with CRISIS disk. BTW, your notebook have nice design. What is the price for this monster?

cool ! i was really hopping with cpu extra options.
this laptop model has been replaced with the qosmio x500 but i still prefer my model. it cost me 2000 euros with the q9000 cpu but i replaced it with a qx9300.

OK. I will post the modified BIOS when it ready. For the mean time, please make sure your computer can recover corrupted BIOS with CRISIS disk.

EDIT: Aspire 5517 is using Insyde BIOS. Sorry, Insyde BIOS mod request is not supported. However TravelMate 8210 is using Phoenix BIOS. I will proceed with it only.

That sounds great Kizwan I am using the TM8210 daily and wanted to be able to load some 64 bit server2008 with hyper-v. I am planning to purchase an Acer Aspire 5680 with T7200 have you already modded that bios for VT?

thanks again for the quick reply!

According to notebookcheck website, your TM8210 have Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T7400, right? If yes, there should be no problem. T7200 also have Virtualization technology. If you want to buy another notebook, I suggest you to buy Acer Aspire 5740G instead. I believe it is not too expensive. The CPU & graphic card is much better.

EDIT: Modified BIOS for Aspire 5680 already available here.
