    Hello,
i got a PackardBell TJ65 (Acer Board) and i was looking for some bios mod that allows to reduce fan noise. Reading around i saw that is not possible or i'm wrong?
Anyway i opened my bios.rom in Phoenix BIOS Editor Pro and i noticed there is a "intel" menu (hidden?) with a lot of options.
Please, It's possible to unhide it?

Based on your CPU specification, it does have SpeedStep technology. So I will modify your BIOS for you. I'll post the modified BIOS image when it ready.

Please remember, I can't add any feature which the original BIOS itself is not supported. Not all features listed in Intel datasheet will be available as it depends on which IO controller it have & it also depend on whether the manufacturer want to implement it or not. It all depend on the original BIOS.

I'll try write a simple tutorial for you or anybody who want to learn on how to unlock hidden menu.

@freud666, none of your request supported by your computer BIOS. Your computer have very basic BIOS.
It is not possible to add new/more option. The BIOS image consists of many files & it is related with each other. If the option/feature you want but doesn't exist in any of the files, it is not possible to "add" it in BIOS. The only way is to re-write BIOS & this is not possible since we don't have appropriate tools & software.

FAN control mod request is not supported.

The Intel section is visible in PBE but it doesn't in real BIOS Setup Menu. There is no solution to unhidden it yet. The Intel section does "linked" to BIOS Setup Menu properly. That is why you can see it in PBE. Clearly the manufacturer put some control or function to prevent it from available to end user. The only solution is to move the menu from Intel to Main section but the numbers of menu we can unlock are limited to the space available at Main section. In this case, limited means only two to three menu we can fit in Main section. This & more reason why you need to have specific request.
