I got some new problems now. :( My Laptop fan seems to be not working properly now. It keep spinning for 4 seconds and then stops and this process is repeated. When this happens the Laptop will eventually shutdown after becoming extremely hot. But some times the fan keep spinning like normal and no stopping or anything happens then.

I took out the fan, cleaned it and applied some lubricant to the motor tip and other parts inside the fan and there is no difference, still operating like before. So I concluded that it's not fan's fault. I also checked motherboard for any blown out capacitors and there is none. Now, my main suspect is the Thermal paste. I already ordered a Noctua NT-H1, but now I have the doubt that if it's the problem of thermal paste, why the fan stop spinning? Is this possible? Or any one know any other cause for this strange behavior from the cpu fan?
