    Hi,

Seems like i'm having a similar problem as you with my 3820TG. The screen just suddenly stopped working. Although, when i look close i can see that the screen is working but it's really dark and dimmed down. I guess it's the backlight or the inverter?

Was it necessary for you to change the whole screen? Do you know if the inverter comes with a screen or is it separate?

The screen doesn't include an inverter or it's not the inverter that's broken?

There are no inverters on LED-backlit screens.

    Hi,

I talked to acer's support and they told me that it might be a problem with the bios. However, when i try to update the new bios i just keep getting error-messages. Do you think my problem is a software or a hardware issue?

    Thank you

I don't see how it could be BIOS-related to be honest.
