Again, you can start the BIOS update and if it should lose power while doing the update then it will proceed further on battery.
It won't cancel or break anything, also it won't allow you to start an update without power.

If you lose power while doing an update and not having a battery to keep it alive, then you will brick your mainboard. So charge battery to 100% and do a BIOS update on power.

I don't know what will happen if the AC power goes out during a bios flash, sorry.
Most likely it will complete it, assuming the MSI engineers are semi competent. But I don't think anyone here is going to test that for you.

Why don't you just buy a SPI programmer and a Pomona 5250 clip and some male to female jumper wires to connect the clip to the flasher? (that way you won't need an SOIC8 adapter). Then you just force flash the Bios manually if something goes wrong. Yes this WILL require repasting the GPU with thermal compound (the Bios chip, at least in the GT73VR, is under the video card MXM module), but then you never have to worry about that stuff again.

I asked this question to the technical department of the msi.

    Hello Cüneyt,
You can update your BIOS to E1785IMS.118 from the following page.
    https://www.msi.com/Laptop/support/GT72VR-6RE-Dominator-Pro#down-bios
    How to update BIOS: https://www.msi.com/files/pdf/How_to_update_bios_en.pdf
Please read the updating guide carefully, and update the BIOS in a right method.
Note : Power on your notebook with AC adapter. Please make sure that your notebook is running with AC power during entire update process.
Thank you and have a good day.

    Best Regards,
    MSI Notebook Technical Application Department

You will need to have AC adapter connected in order to proceed with BIOS update, but once the process is started then it must finish. If the AC power breaks off then it will continue to flash using power from the battery, however if the battery has no power then the BIOS will fail and the system will become bricked.

Better to pray to god before you do the BIOS flash. If you're in warranty then go ahead. Otherwise find some place or day when your electricity won't be cut-off suddenly. You can ask your friends if somebody has a inverter or generator or standard UPS for backup power for just a minute or two.
