LMAO wheel hop was so bad 99% of the time at the track that the wipers came on every launch.... I could also do a burnout while doing 65MPH which was the only cool thing about that car. Well that and a top end that could make modded supras, vettes and vipers upset they spent 10-20 times more then I did as I passed them. :p

The Cobalt SS and Mazda Speed3 have so much torque steer and wheel spin, they limit torque in 1st and 2nd gear.

Anyways I had a friend with a turbo Integra...wheel spin galore.

Or it could just be a car collector. $300K for a concept car isn't that bad actually.

However, if I did have $300k to spare and was going to buy a Volvo, I'd get one that was modded by a Koenigsegg engineer :D

i think the Polestar S60 was originally designed/built for a customer. the car got such positive feedback that Volvo decided to tinker with ideas of bringing the car into production.

I really hope you're right. But knowing Volvo and Polestar, this is probably the same old PR stunt that they have been using for the past years. If they can bring the Polestar S60 down to the M3 price range and do some heavy marketing to rid the Volvo stigma (boxy, ugly, made for people who can't drive, etc, etc..) then I can very well see this happening. But either way, if this car does go into production, I'll be taking one :D (in a different color and no suede interior)

Apologies.... what I meant to say is car equipped with the T5 engine cost $1295 for the upgrade.... T6 engines is $1495. I have the T5 engine so I jumped the gun on that one. You can check it our yourself by building the cars on the volvo website. Note that the R-Design trim for the S60 and XC60 do not have the upgrade option because it is already included in the package.
