introducing the Polestar Performance S60. this is Volvo's attempt at tackling the M5/XF-R/IS-F/AMG and it has unexpectedly taken my breath away...

I like the styling of modern Volvo's, if it's anything like the Polestar C30 then it will be a beast.

I highly doubt that will go into production.... just like the polestar C30. You can get a "polestar upgrade" with many of the current line volvos, but that is only a software tune that bumps your HP up ~25 ponies.

The blue colored polestar C30 (and most likely the above pictured S60) has heavily modified guts. eg.. they took the AWD from the S40 and stuck it in the C30.

$1295 in the US.... but it's still expensive and that's why I opted for a tune from Elevate for my C30... cheaper and more power :D

But keep in mind that the $1295 upgrade will keep your volvo under warranty. Third party tunes don't.

That was the C30... Houstoned's post is about a new polestar S60.

BTW, the blue polestar C30 is nothing short of spectacular (except for the suede interior... not my cup of tea). Although it didn't go into production, Jay Leno has one and brought it to a Houston Volvo dealership for a bit of showing off. Anyways, kinda getting off topic here and C30's are moot now since Volvo is discontinuing it as of 2013 to make room for the new V40.
