4G is 1Gbps standing 100mbps moving....we are a long ways from 4G we are between 3G and 4G. Sprint in Wilmington is 6.5Mbps down and 1-1.5Mbps up and Chicago can range from 3Mbps-6.5Mbps down and 1-1.5Mbps up but I live outside of "4G" range :/

sprints 3G can range from 3KBps to 300KBps down and 5-80KBps up. They have an awesome 3G network when your in an area that has been upgraded and is not bogged down. Jacksonville NC got 200-300KBps down and 60-80KBps up after they upgraded some of the network but after a while it started to slow from 100-300KBps and 40-80KBps

Chicago 3G is horrible. i get 5KBps on and off...I can't even get a constant 56k speed because it is so overloaded.

At least right now, no you don't. Sprint has not launched their LTE network yet, so you'd be stuck with their 3G speeds.
