The only way to overvolt the 3820TG is to flash the bios (with hex edit) and this kills switchable graphics so you have to select discrete only in bios.
not worth it for .05 volts or so.

Is it not possible with Sapphire Trixx either? I have a 5820TG and I can overvolt without any BIOS modification. Though undervolting is not possible with Trixx.

no clue but i love it...took me a total of 4 repastings to get it perfect but it did...the picture above is what got me these temps...also run prime95 to get the heatsinks nice and hot then cool and hot and cool again to really get the paste to set in.

my lowest was 29c but average is about 33-34

We need also the room temperature and the fan profile.

id say its about 68Fdegrees in here and im using zseros gaming fan profile and my laptop is just sitting on my bed (minimal airflow) and OCd to 3.2 ghz

also the pictures look like the dots are a bit large but they are less of dots and more of small spreads...meaning I put the plunger close to the surface of the chip and squeezed out a bb sized amount but it spread out as it hit the cpu/gpu if that makes sense
