Funny guys :). You can google for "vertex 3 BSOD" or "SF-2281 BSOD" to understand that the issue still persists even with latest firmwares.

Of course only small percent of systems are affected. But if affected - there is no cure for now. So you'd better be sure you can return your SSD. Just in case.

ok so i did something wrong because whenever i switch to "switchable graphics" in bios i get a black screen when i start up...like the display is switched off....i booted up in safe mode to see if either the intel or amd devices are disabled but they are both on
    ---------------------------

so im assuming its because i used the intel driver from the intel site not the acer version. I did this because when i download the intel driver package from acer it seems to be the wrong driver, there is no display driver to install in the package just a turbo boost driver

nvm i got it, it was the intel driver
    ------------------------
ok last thing i swear lol...so the way i installed my graphics switching was that i installed the intel graphics card then the acer ati driver, then switched the bios to discrete mode and installed the amd catalyst driver then switched back to switchable graphics...the problem im having is if i shutdown the computer with the gpu in power saver mode (intel chipset active) it freezes on shutdown and i get a BSOD. if i switch to the ati chip then shutdown its fine...why is this happening?

the dump says the problem is the usbhub.sys but i think thats just a generic explaination.

also, it seems that i get better fps with my intel card than my ati card....gpu-z says that the ati cards core is running at 100 mhz
