This is a lot of what I'm looking for in a gaming laptop. The fact the AMD models can use FreeSync and G-Sync is a really nice value-add.

Is there a link to the US Lenovo store for these yet?

I found one for the Legion 5 Pro but still no new news of when they'll be released in the US, Lenovo keeps giving out random dates

Do my eyes deceive me, or does the spec sheet show that USB-C charging is now available? It says "power delivery" but does that mean for the laptop itself or a device connected to it when in sleep mode or powered off?

Yes the 2021 models supports USB-C charging, I kinda wish the 2020 models supports it too:(.

Its only 1 seller and its very overpriced for the specs, Noone gonna pay $2k+ for that.

Yeah the seller on ebay is price gouging and trying to match aliexpress' price for the legion 5 pro.

It seems the Legion 7 does not come with liquid metal preapplied.

Jarrod'sTech on Twitter: "@PvPXan I asked about that, they said no Legion 7's globally are using liquid metal. It could be possible they were misinformed, but that is what they told me." / Twitter

Presumably, they're doing it this way so that they can get more machines shipped out faster because of the high demand? In any case this is somewhat good news because this means that the preliminary thermals we have seen so far are pretty decent considering the benchmarks have all been done with presumably average/poor nonconductive factory thermal paste. A repaste with liquid metal should bring thermals down pretty significantly.

Someone else on Reddit ran their Legion 7 with Dynamic Boost disabled. They got 115W sustained power draw.

Lenovo Legion 7 ( 2021 AMD 3080 ) confirmed base TGP of 115 watt, and Dynamic Boost 2.0 of 50 watts. Why did they choose this route over 150w base and 15w boost? : GamingLaptops (reddit.com)

In practice its not a concern though. The system happily draws 155-160W sustained under full load when gaming. JarrodsTech comments about this in his gaming benchmark oveview for the Legion 7. Full review is coming soon.

Its possible they chose this regime so that it plays more happily with the Lenovo AI Engine.
