Whether its vbios, bios, synapse or a combination of all of them together..my blade still wont go over 90watts in custom mode. I downloaded the most recent nvidia and nothing. Maybe ill grab that old driver from microsoft update. Razer needs to update synapse to allow full gpu power regardless of nvidia driver version

It's definitely an NVIDIA driver thing. Most likely related to the Max-Q Dynamic Boost setting in the driver.

This article has some info on it https://www.techspot.com/news/84661-nvidia-goes-super-new-geforce-rtx-gpus-gaming.html

Does anyone have the BOE display? My replacement unit has this. I have read about PWM but for me the BOE display has better colours, is brighter and much less backlight bleed.
What's the issue with the BOE panel?

See a lot of people complaining (and rightly so) about the weird keyboard layout on these.

    This might help a bit - https://imgur.com/a/KqlDnOp

I have updated the driver with the latest one, version 445.75, that includes DLSS 2.0, mainly to play Control. I tested the PC with AIDA64 and monitor power draw with HWiNFO64 (screenshot attached) and it was consistent at 90W in custom mode, with both, CPU and GPU set to High.

My RB 17 Pro 2080 also seems locked at 90w. Odd.

I have updated to the latest 1.04 bios and have the latest GPU drivers

I have the late 2019 with 9750h and 2080 model and razer site shows no BIOS update. Only update is for the early 2019 RBP17.
Is it safe to use that earlier bios?

Why would you flash an earlier BIOS? Do you have any issues?

    Hey everyone!
I have been searching for how to remove the heatsink on the 2019 Razer blade Pro 17" 2080. I wasn't sure which screws to remove on the top left and right of the heatsink, is it the ones underneath the wires?

I couldn't find it anywhere, I have previous experience with the Razer blade 15". However, I wanted to be sure, since I've noticed people have done this before. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
