For cpu its all power limited...

Ran prime95 in performance mode and with undervolt of -100 (factory set by Razer) I got 70+ degree with max core frequency 2.9ghz and steady (...like a wall) power limit of 55watts...

Changing undervolt using xtu to-150mv gave me max core frequency of 3.3ghz at 70C with same 55watts power limit

Anyone knows why in xtu cpu boost multiplier is greyed out...? Is bios locked and if yes how to circumvent..

Lol.. you're not wrong. It obviously wasn't meant the way Rinneh interpreted it.

Just looking forward to hearing more about the specs I "might" be able to stretch my budget to :)

You should be changing icc max and tpl. Slide them all the way to the right along with turbo duration.

Removing the power limit does indeed yield a big boost. I got an almost 20% performance jump in cinebench R20 performance (2708 -> 3229) by removing the cpu TDP limit on my GS75.

Exactly as YoungStarDC interpreted. NBR is a funny place... due to it being for enthusiasts, you tend to hear the most about the top spec machines. The Area51m thread is a good example - hardly anyone talks about the 2060 in there.

Well, it's logical. If it's a thread about a high-end gaming laptop then high-end specs are going to be the talk of the thread.

As for the Area51m, if people cant afford the top end spec, they will probably spend it on another laptop with a 2080 like a GE75 rather than a 2070 A51m. Or a 2070 GE75 instead of a 2060 A51m.

Could you try running a benchmark with synapse uninstalled?

Will it run at 90w+ or 100w+ then?

I think its natural...to share experience, a bit of healthy competition showing benchmark results and then the simple pride of owning a top end piece of hardware...where else to do that?...most family members get glassy eyes when you wanna share the technical details and why its so great (...at least in my case..)...its a hobby

So that's still the same as what i said. So rich people dont care specs or performance?
