That remark is kinda off, also not friendly. It takes tiem and effort for others to provide you with scores. You also could await benchmarks from review sites.

I think he’s saying that he thinks there are a lot of rich people here, so not really an insult. Correct me if I’m wrong though lol :)

My blade pro 2080MQ power brick does get way hotter than any of my previous laptops. After extended sessions I can't lift hold it for more than a few seconds at a time.

I wonder if this is actually a defect or do they usually run this hot? Since I don't have anything to measure the surface temperatures I can't give exact numbers but it does not feel normal for a brick to be this hot.

Those with the new blade pro, does your power brick get unusually hot? Would be nice to hear from others on this.

I have a new 17” and also a 15”...on both models the power brick gets very hot, similar to what you describe.
I was concerned when I first got the 15” and had Razer send a replacement, the replacement was just the same, I then tried a colleagues power supply (he also has a 15”) and got the same results. Either every power supply is faulty or this is how they are designed to be.

My 2017 RBP brick gets very hot. Always has. Clearly, they all run like toasters.

This is the price you'll have to pay for the nice and slim adapter design(as well probably cheap components). How long it will stay alive with this awful temps doesn't matter for the ODM. I'm not even sure they will cover a new psu if you went with extended warranty.

That’s pretty bad and maybe not even 100% safe :(
