With all the trouble Intel is going through right now they'd be crazy not to try and put something like that out. Here's hoping.

I mean seriously, when will this come? This should have been a priority for the last decade.
Now usb-c has been finalized, has created a mess, and still no ability to use a portable (laptop) screen as a portable screen....

Portable screen for what though? I can see the use with older systems, but most/all of the things I'd have wanted to use a laptop as an external display for in the past I can pretty much now do from the machine itself and cut the source device out of the equation entirely.

If I have to travel with my ps4 or something. It would be nice to have something with a better screen than the sentry/centurion.

That was the one use I could think of for it, and I recall there used to be Alienware models that have it, along with a couple of others if memory does not fail me. Not sure why it stopped being a thing.

Yea, no one used it a lot.

Streaming would be another good use for it. Streaming off a console while traveling.

I'd like to see the Optical bay get swapped for an expansion bay, most laptops are dropping it. Maybe we would we it come back for a pcie 2x or something.

I wouldn't say no to external PCIe connections.

Video input adds a lot of utility. If you are away from your home setup, or out on site, you could have multiple displays easily.
I thought when we finally got usb-c, we would be able to connect device to device and use one as input.
Not only would it add utility to current hardware, but could have made older devices usable beyond their lifespan.
There really is no reason not to have this feature. Just my 2¢

I could find use for it. Especially with a picture in picture with a hot key swap. Particularly when I have to go work on friends computers or like I posted erlier running q console through it.

I am absoltuely sure that I couldn't find a use for that at any given moment, but I have like 3 external displays, 2 tablets and more to feed me data, I keep the display of my lappt closed...
