Yeah that looks like mine. It came with the dock, so it stays put most of the time anyway. I'd agree the tech has improved and they're slimmer while still being good quality, but the 80/90 W ones I was referring to can be less than half the size (of my 180W one), I think.

Edit: this ones only 65W, but a good example: https://finsix.com/

    - I believe only the newest Xbox controllers (bundled with the one S) have Bluetooth. And even then, via Bluetooth you don't get the full functionality. I also believe that the elite one can't be configured with the app, if you don have the dongle or a wired connection.

    - smaller power bricks: as small as possible in the required power range.

    - new battery tech needs to roll in faster then!

    - then we need RGB hinges next! Kek

A lot of this exists but because of design limitations not in the same laptop.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned, yet, but how about full desktop PCIe slots in enthusiast laptops?

Also toward the smaller end, I'd really like a pocketable laptop (or phablet w/folding keyboard) that runs full desktop Windows or Linux, with overlapping windows, taskbar & menu, multitasking, etc, and has decent performance comparable to an entry-level gaming desktop. (An equivalent today might have a G4560 + GTX 1050, or R3-1100 + RX 560.)
