Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but I am very very impressed. It's like a love-child of the current Mustang and a 370Z, which sounds terrible, but somehow totally isn't terrible in the least. Possibly-faulty comparisons aside, I love the sleeker, curvier lines. Ford's gallery is set up so that I can't repost images very well, so here's a link.

Eh, yes it looks awesome, but it looks too much like Ford's current Taurus, especially in the front.

It looks great. It's been many, many moons since a Pony car had a respectable exterior design language.

My exact first thought as well.. I'm a pretty big mustang fan, but this exterior isn't my favorite

Personally, I want my muscle cars to look like a muscle car. Just my two cents though.

I think of the Mustang as a pony car and the Challenger as a muscle car. I know neither term has a precise definition, but I think of them as a bit of a spectrum. I expect some svelteness and agility as well as power from pony cars, and at least in my opinion, the 2015 Mustang's lines do a better job at svelteness than any other Mustang I can think of, but still looks powerful to me.

also remember that, with this new Mustang, Ford has a "global" vision in mind.

only fans of American cars really like American car's design language. for the rest of us, we think "clunky, big, cheap, and little to no finesse" when it comes to American vehicles.

compared to the last 3-4 generations, this new Mustang is a vast improvement in just about every aspect. the only thing that's left is the waiting game. we'll have to wait and see how this thing will perform.

I remember the previous generation holding its own against the E92 M3 around certain test tracks...despite having a live axle that was meant for drag strips instead of race courses. I suspect the new model with the independent rear suspension will handle quite well indeed.

Not bad, but old school Mustang still looks better.
