How much do those factory Roush Stage 3 Mustang's go for? I'm most surprised about the 3yr/36k mile warranty they give you.

Hmmm 2013 GT500 or Dodge Viper? They are going to come back with it soon. Sure the Viper costs twice as much, but it is still a contest. I'd probably take a Nissan GT-R though.

I don't really think you'd cross shop a Mustang GT500 and a GT-R. Totally different cars in terms of aesthetics, handling and power.

A GT-R would be more practical than both, but commands a hefty premium, but it's not like the GT500 would be cheap. MSRP on the GT500 is never what you are going to pay/what is in stock, like the horrible price gouging on the Camaro when it first came out.

GT500s are pretty easy to find at MSRP...

A GT-R also costs ~$100,000 realistically, I have seen GT500's go for about ~$55,000 new. It depends most of what kind of driving characteristics you like in a car and how much you can spend.

Yeah, I'd imagine that those interested in American-muscle-esque cars likely won't be cross-shopping the GT-R, and vice-versa... they aren't competitors.

A corvette Z06 and a GT-R could be a possible cross shop, but not a mustang

Agreed. Pricing is more in-line as well.
