As of recent it has become a trend to lease 3-Series BMW's even if you live under a bridge and don't make the payments only to have the car repo'd a few months down the line.

But anyways, the new GT is beast. I wonder how the GT500 5.4L Supercharged V8 performs with its new all aluminum block and transmission. :D

it will perform pretty much the same as the 2010, it only shifts the weight differential by 1% and only saves about 90-110 pounds depending on options

I kind of disagree with this. $30k spent on CAI, exhaust, tuning and tires isn't good use, and are certainly worth nowhere near $30k... Good use are things like superchargers, superchargers, more superchargers, and things of such sort. (See signature of person above :D)

turbo = win on a lot of cars but some cars just deserve a big fat twin screw blower sitting on top of the engine lol... plus the fact that I hit 18 pounds of boost instantly anywhere above 2000 rpms means i get roughly 600 lb/ft of torque right off idle and that climbs and plateaus for the entire rev range lol...

so twin screw can = win too haha

i agree somewhat. i think big muscle cars made before the 70's deserve a big fat blower stickin out of their hoods.

blowers and turbos can produce comparable numbers, but i just prefer the lovely sounds that a turbo car makes. i'm not really into the mechanical whining sound. ;)

Turbos suck, superchargers blow. :D Love them both though.

thats what drag strips are for... not all cars are only driven on the street... plus its really fun to see how fast you can get to that speed limit:D
