    Epic Battle

With the Mustang GT, you save roughly $30k. $30k that can be put to some seriously good use such as for a CAI, Racing Exhaust, Tune and Tires!!!

eeh, one is a luxury car and the other an American muscle.

For speed, mustang all the way, best bang for buck. But i mean, for car vs car in the overall, it comes down to wallet and taste.

I expected an article on this, considering how close the figures are. I will say, Ford has done an amazing job with the Mustang. However, I will also say that I'd want to drive both to get a feel before I decide which one I prefer, since I don't choose things based on figures. Though, if it were my money, and I had the 60k to spend on the M3, I'd get the Mustang GT, an E30 M3, and spend the rest on tuning those two. :p

mustang all the way... european cars tend to be a bit over designed... to some that doesn't matter but to me it does.. but then again i'm a bit biased too

the new 2011 mustang is going to be a bolt on monster too, with its high compression 4V 5.0

I think the M3 looks better, and the Mustang a bit too boxy. I've never been in any of the these cars (besides seeing pictures), but I'd imagine the M3 being a bit more comfortable?

If you wanna spend $30k sure. Or you could save $30k, support the American (& Canadian) economies and with a few bolt-ons have a car faster than any M3.

Mustang FTW here too! Always wanted one.

A buddy of mine just tried to change the brakes on his son's VW and just one of many examples of "overdesigned". Probably used more explatives than I can recall. Designed for assembly I'm sure, not for service...
