I know I am asking too much but the new Dell area 51M made me confused between these 2 machines,
The Gt75 with 8950hk, 128gb ram ( will start with 64GB and then add the other 2 when prices go down ), 5x 2tb Samsung 970 evo, 4Tb evo 860 and the RTX 2080

    And

    The area M51 with 9900k, 128gb ram ( will start with 1 32GB then add more later ), 2x 2tb 970 evo, 4Tb evo 860 and the RTX 2080

Which one should I go for?

    Thank you in advance

the area 51m is not out yeat, so it is probably best to wait and see what the thermals and performance is like.

I think will order one from dell and try it first but you think ( 9900k, 16gb ram, 512gb ssd + 1tb and the RTX 2080 ) worth $3675?

Since it is a new model it does have a premium, but if it performs well with great cooling then sure. The MSI we already know what the cooling is like, so the the AW has to be at least similar, hopefully better because of the desktop CPU.

As much as I like desktop components, the 9900K is just way too hot to properly cool off, and I would be pissed by having a very limited clockspeed for an otherwise unlocked, super strong processor. If possible I might even go with a 8700.

I would be interested in a battle between both machines, to see how much the CPU really affects gaming once you are 6core/12 threads vs 8/16. I like the design of the GT75 better imo.

    Arm chair critics .....
There are only 3x M.2 slots and 1x 2.5" SATA bay in my GT75 8th Gen.
Where do you see 5 slots?!
Have you even done a google picture search?!
    Or a YouTube search?!
