1337 fail .
Good to hear these last a long time, my mom and brother have a 96 and 97 Corollas and are both about 120,000 miles and I worry about them dying anytime now. I guess after a car reaches 100,000, I feel its going to up and die any second.
The average trouble free life of a Ford Crown Vic is about 250,000 miles. They can keep going to about 400,000 if you are willing to do repairs.
A Ford is a Ford, and they don't really have a good reputation for being road warriors. Foreign cars have a better quality and can take mileage like a king.
Yet I would still have a ford over a toyota any day....
I don't know about the other Ford models, but the Crown Vic "takes a licking and keeps on ticking." There is a reason why just about every City, State, and local law enforcement agency uses the Crown Vic, in addition to most Taxi companies.
Edit: @ Colton -- And Cop cars and Taxi's aren't the biggest road warriors out there ??
Well, my brothers toyota matrix just blew its engine at 170k miles. I think it should have gotten more out of it, but it was an abused car. Although it wasn't fun pushing it 1 mile up hill.
