    Hi all,

I've been really interested in the new GTX1080 lineup and that card can really handle so well 1080P and 2K even 4K so well, now I found out all 18.4 Inch models to be only in SLI configuration, I got no problem with this BUT carrying TWO power bricks is a big Off for me xD, and only MSI?!

I need your help locating a laptop that..

    - 18.4 Inch (Screen configuration will be ok for me, 1080P with GSync I am fine with it, higher will be a plus).
    - Single GTX1080.
    - Any model using only one power brick.

Cheers, thank you so much in advance.

Stay away from MSI, it has serious power draw issues which MSI refuse to fix. There are no other 18.4" laptops unfortunately

So wait... You won't do 17"? The Clevo P870DM is one of the most popular options around here. There is also the Asus GX800, and eventually Acer Predator 21X. All 1080 sli. The Clevo P870DM has an extra edge with a desktop 6700k (instead of a 6700hq or 6820hk), and the Asus is watercooled.

Edit: The Clevo P870DM and P775DM are 17" laptops that can take a single 1080. Also the MSI GT73.

No more. I am like J00, I love 18.4" laptops but had to get a 17.3" due to the lack of options and I hate it. I am looking forward to the Acer Predator 21" laptop due in Q1 of 2017

Thank you so much for the information, what model is that from Sager now? ASUS is over priced and I guess the Acer will come with two bricks also for power??

It's not like we are in a position to choose bro. There is nothing that interests me at the moment, sometimes sacrifices have to be made.

With my P870DM I bought 3 power adapters, 2 for home connected via the adapter when I need the max performance with no power draw limitations and one that I keep in the bag for when I go out as I'm too lazy to keep disconnecting one of the two adapters when I go out, this is very convenient

Nice Idea, I hoped for a sleek looking one, even with 21 Inch 2K single GTX1080 can do it so well, let's hope they make it xD
