15 inches is quite painful gaming on i much prefer 17 inches and a good display to match.

17 or nothing for me. Hell I'd buy a larger screen even, 20 sounds great! 15 is just too small for gaming. I have no idea how people use laptops even smaller than 15" for gaming, makes no sense to me.

Back when I was a student, 15" all the way. Now it's 17"+ or bust.

Since I work on my laptop, I have the W230ss, but otherwise I would go 15 in. I had a 17 and it was not comfortable using it on the couch.

I used 15" notebooks back many years, but after using 17" and 18" notebooks for the last 5 years, I can never go back to the tiny little 15" displays. To me it was just like SSDs. Once you tried it, you cant downgrade ever again.

I have no issues carrying a 17" notebook with me at all

I traded my 17 Sammy for the Blade 14. I like the smaller form factor and half the weight. I find I am just as immersed in my games as before, no issue. 100% positive switch.

Yep - I struggled with a massive 17" machine for ages - great as a desktop replacement but as a *lap*top only good to cut off all circulation from your thighs down :) So my next machine will be smaller, lighter, pickup-and-playable. Although I'm now doubting whether to go "really light/thin" because of all the heat problems...

    13.3, 14, 15.6. That's all I'll use.
