    Here is comes again,
Trying to decide whether I go for a maxQ or not 2080 since I feel the size of a 15 like the
GE does not really bother me.
trying to find reviews of the GE63 with real 2080 card.
I consider LM repasting as well.
What about the different maxQ watts models ?

The 2080 is a lot better than the 2080MQ.

If you dont mind the extra weight and weaker battery life (about 3hrs on baterry), go for the GE with RTX2080. Much better cooling and performance for both CPU and GPU. Also, the GE75 has almost similar dimension and weight but has a bigger screen. Remember to upgrade to dual channel memory since most versions of GE63/75 comes with single ram. Go for LM if possible.

    397 x 268.5 x 27.5 GE75 (2.6Kg)
    383 x 260 x 29.5 GE63 (2.6Kg)
Other laptops with Max-Q GPU are around 2Kg and much thinner.

Almost all the thin and light gaming laptops have the option for RTX 2080 maxQ (Razer Blade, Aero 15, MSI GS65, New Clevo 15", Alienware m15, Acer Triton 500, Asus Zephyrus S 15 and 17", etc.). You can check out owner's threads for these laptops for performance of the MaxQ version.
