15 inch Laptop with Battery Life

    48Whr external battery in the T580 is cylindrical.

    It uses the same shell as the 72Whr, just with fewer cells inside.

    Only the 24Whr is flat.

    As for Dell business laptops, the Latitude 5590 and 5591 has upto a 68Whr battery (same as the 5490/5491, though. Speaking of 14" laptops, the Latitude 7400 2in1 has a 74?Whr option).

    Yeah the battery life is really good. If you're loading up the CPU full time, you won't see 8 hours (same with even the 15W CPUs...).

    Yeah you're right, that's disappointing. I don't mind the 72Whr battery being cylindrical in my A485, but I wouldn't get a 42Whr in the same form factor...

    Asus zenbook ux533fd might be worth looking at...claims 17 hours battery life...and it's the smallest 15in laptop in history
