Does Anyone has this resolution on a small screen? Thinking about getting it but I'm not sure it would look ok.

it's nice to have 1920x1200 screen on 15.4 inch screen if you have extra cash to burn, but in real life, i don't think it's necessary. 1680x1050 seems enough for that size screen. i mean even 17 inch seems too small for that resolution considering my 26 inch desktop screen only uses 1920x1200 and seems perfectly fine.

1920x1080 would be on a 16:9 aspect ratio display (usually 16" or 18.4"). 1920x1200 is available on 16:10 aspect ratio displays, a few of them 15.4" but most 17".

The Lenovo ThinkPad W500, Dell Studio 15, Dell Latitude E6500 and Dell Precision M4400 are a few of the 15.4" models with the 1920x1200 (WUXGA) available.

I used a Dell 8600 with WUXGA (1920x1200 @ 15.4") for a couple of years. Took a bit of getting used to, but once I did it was usable. I agree that 1680x1050 would probably be a better resolution in that size.

You have to admit that HD movies look absolutely beautiful on the screen even though you have to play around with font settings to work with Firefox and even the taskbar. Having a 1920x1200 on a 15.4'' screen is pointless because it isn't a big display. The resolution is best on 17'', 18.4'' and 19'' screens.

Have it on my XPS M1530. It was a lot getting used to at first, but you grow over it. From experience, I would recommend the 1680x1050 over the 1920x1200 on a 15". 1920x1200 is a bit too extreme on a 15". It looks perfect on 17" and up.

if you're doing graphic work the higher the res the better.. for everything else.. a bit of an overkill.
