I have had an i5 R2 since July and I love it. I never thought a mini-laptop could make me barely use my desktop, but it happened

This is the single best purchase I have ever made. I almost couldn't live without it anymore. I do all my work on it, and can play games on the go. I am in Asia as of now, and I can game in my downtimes.

Many times when I use it in public I see people staring at it, thinking it looks cool. A handful of people I know who have seen it are jealous and would want to buy one.

The only thing I don't like is the slow CPU speed, but a laptop can never be meant as a desktop replacement anyway, it'll always be too poor of an experience. I'll build a killer desktop with a large screen for gaming, and keep my m11x for the times I want to play simpler games wherever I am.

It was expensive (especially since I had to buy it in Canada), but I am impressed by Alienware's design and built quality. I dropped it many times, and every single time it didn't even have a scratch.

I've personally had mine for about 2 months, but I bought it used from my cousin who had it for 4months or so before that. No problems yet and I absolutely love it. It chews up everything I throw at it.

it seems that with the m11x that within 2 months the problems usually occur: if nothing appears after 2 months then it's all good....i guess.

    +1

Had mine since last sept 2010.

Hinges starting to break, but still 100% satisfied :D
(and it will get repaired anyway...)
Other than that, this little thingy is perfect.

You're definition of "perfect" confuses me ;) But I understand your enthusiasm.

150% satisfied. I love this form factor.
I just hope some day some company can produce a current one of these types so I can buy it to replace my M11x!
