Until the greatest Windows OS will no longer receive any more security updates. January 14, 2020 is fast approaching and as we already know that Microsoft is planning to charge Windows 7 Pro & Enterprise users until 2023 if they want to continue to receive security updates, This sucks for over 40% of PC users worldwide that are still running Windows 7

    This video explains it better.

It's been... however many years... that 7 users have known this day was coming. That they haven't moved to 10 or another OS both wouldn't surprise me and also makes me shake my head..

Makes me shake my head that after using windows 7, users willfully chose to move to windows 10. I would use 7 for much longer than when security patches ended if it was still supported on the hardware side. I vurp (vomit burp) everytime I see a windows beta 10 desktop.

    IMO, a 'disinfected' 8.1 + Classic Shell becomes an excellent 7 Mk2.
    And many years of support.

Personally have been doing fine in 10 so far, then again I’m not willing to pay for extra support for 7. For the people who do plan on continuing to use 7 (especially businesses), they’ve had long enough to plan for what to do, be it continue and pay or move on to an alternate OS.

I will probably continue using 7 even after the support ends...

Same here, there's nothing wrong with it and a updated AV and setting proper level permissions and regular backups means it has a lot of life left in it yet.

Biggest concern for me is upgrading to a new hardware... I will be upgrading my rig once CP2077 drops, and as far as I heard, MS dropped Windows 7 support for the new hardware... Assholes...
