I have been customizing a Compaq X1000 computer on the HP site. Curious, how much faster is a 1.6 over a 1.5 Centrino. What is the Pentium equivalent of the two? Thanks.[8]

The difference is as minor as it sounds, generally not worth the cost. What are they charging for that upgrade?

As for what equals what. That's been asked and answered a few hundred times. Well, not that many, do a forums search and follow one of the older debates on the topic. No need to start a new one.

The difference would be about 0.15 to 0.20 difference in terms of Pentium 4's.

Like brian said, you wouldnt see much of a difference.
