Re: Thinkpad x130e OWNER'S LOUNGE
If only I can find one of those i3 boards and swap them into my X120e... really don't like that rounded design.

Re: Thinkpad x130e OWNER'S LOUNGE
According to this article: New ThinkPads, IdeaPads: T430s, T530, W530, X230t, X131e, V480, V580 | Laptoping the x131 will have options for a i3, i5 and i7... I'm not sure if that is accurate or not but I cannot imagine lenovo trying to cram an i7 into this thing.

Re: Thinkpad x130e OWNER'S LOUNGE
Same with the asus zenbook and alienware m11x. there are a few high powered 11.6" laptops out there, not many though (i have been looking). They're not full-powered CPUs though, they're UM variants with a 17W TDP.

Re: Thinkpad x130e OWNER'S LOUNGE
The 11.6" Asus U24E is available with a 35W i7. Maybe with Ivy Bridge this will prove to be true for the x131.

Re: Thinkpad x130e OWNER'S LOUNGE
Hello! I just picked up an x130e today. Nice little guy, good replacement for my netbook. Yes, its a little chubby, but its ok & I just love the keypad on it - so much better that the flat keys on my Acer netbook. By the way, does anyone know how to stop/remove the stupid beep when it turns on & off. There's got to be a way. Any ideas? Thanks!!
