    Has anyone found a way to change from stamina to speed mode without rebooting?

    Not in this case It would have to stop power on one video card and instanty switch to GeForce and give the GeForce a split-second to get all of the Intel's card's video data on it - otherwise the computer would hang.

    But I agree anything is possible.

    Yes I think having to reboot everytime you want to switch between the modes is lame.
    Can someone tell me what other than the graphics card changes when you put it in stamina mode?

    nothing. you just get better battery life in stamina

    Thanks, I was thinking maybe 1 of the duo core processors shut down, but I guess not.

    I'd say just be happy that the SZ even has this feature as its one of the few laptops on the market that even have it.....

    Ok, heres something strange. When I installed my SZ with Core 5 my nvidia card wasn;t loaded because I had no drivers. When it was in Speed mode, the machine used the Intel graphics card. The Intel card has to be accessible while in Speed mode because its integrated into the motherboard, hence Fedora used it. Whether this is possible the other way round is a different matter.
