VAIO Inbuilt Camera NOW working on FJ270!! - Possible SOLUTION TO ALL CAMERA PROBLEMS

Good News!! I posted a request for help with my VAIO camera drivers fro the FJ270.. a few replies but I'd tried everything

..until Ilan Shusterman to whom I am eternally grateful helped me locate the european driver ftp site ... which is a virtual treasure trove of everything VAIO!!! THE SITE IS INCREDIBLE!!
Not only did I find my camera driver which works:

ftp://ftp.vaio-link.com/PUB/Vaio/Original/ .......(FJ_1Utilities)

but i've also found drivers for several more vaios etc...

Not sure if everyone already knows of this site ...or if it applies to vaios from other countries but it worked for me!! Goodluck..

(I wish a sony tech support guy reads this .. so that others dont have to go thru the same harassment I faced from Sony)

Thanks for the link. However, the problem for most of us (I think) isn't finding a driver for the webcam, but finding a solution for the shutdown freeze after installing the webcam driver.

There has been posted an American hotfix, but a European solution is still missing.
